Update on World English Disqualification Action
On September 12, the NSCA was notified by Northbrook Sports Club that it has disqualified one of the shooters at the 2019 World English Sporting Championship. Northbrook has rerun the shoot results, and the current posted results are the final official results. Following an investigation of the disqualification to determine if any additional disciplinary action should be taken, the NSCA Executive Council, along with the NSCA Executive Director, reached a decision. Gun/Ammo Option Shoot-Off Participants
Names have been drawn for Saturday night's National Championship Gun/Ammo Option Shoot-off in the stadium. Five names each have been drawn from the Main Event, K-Kup, 5-Stand, Super Sporting, and FITASC. The five competitors chosen from each event will shoot off in the stadium tonight to see who will win the first place prize gun and second place prize of three cases of 12-gauge ammo. Larry Denison of Northbrook Sports Club (IL) passed away on March 6. Northbrook manager Brett Seibert calls Larry Denison "one of the most active volunteers in Northbrook Sports Club history." Larry was a two-term NSC president and served terms as vice president and director. He also served NSC enthusiastically as Major Events chairman, Building and Grounds chairman, and Sporting Clays Committee member. Final Shots: James “Jim” Swanzy III
James (Jim) Swanzy III of Clute, Texas, long-time president of Capital City Skeet & Trap, passed away on February 21. Jim and his wife Marian were married for over 40 years and lived in Austin. After retirement, Jim enjoyed shooting and riding and traveling on his BMW motorcycles. He played an integral part in making Austin's Capital City Clays a welcoming and fun location for shooting skeet, trap, and sporting clays. Following the death of Marian in 2016, Jim married Margaret Kana in 2017 and moved to Clute. In September 2018, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Jim fought the … [Read more...]

2018 End-of-Year Review Information
NSCA's 2018 end-of-year review was run Tuesday, January 22, 2019. The criteria used for the 2018 end-of-year review is as follows: All shooters who started and ended the year in the same class and shot a minimum of 500 or more registered targets are eligible for review. All shooters who shot 1,000 or more registered targets in their ENDING class for the year are eligible for review.
