Selection of NSCA All State Teams is done by computer based on 2003 shooting records These teams usually consist of 5 shooters on the Open Team plus one from each concurrent and each NSCA class; however, there are not always eligible shooters for all of these spots.
Eligibility for any of the NSCA All State Teams requires shooting 500 targets in your home state and participating in the Main Event of your State Championship Shoot. If no State Shoot is held, a team is not selected.
Shooters selected for one of NSCA's All American Teams are not eligible for NSCA All State Teams. Open Team members must have attained AA or Master class by year end. In addition to the Open Team one shooter is identified as a team member from each concurrent and each class. Remember, a shooter may be placed on the team only once. Placement is identified in the following order: Open, Concurrent, Class. Refer to Pages 68-69 of the current rule book or to All State Team Calculations for details of how the computer identifies these team members.
Any State Association President (or Delegate, if a State Association does not exist) may request complete file of eligible shooters in their state by emailing: email@example.com.
