Northbrook Sports Club in Hainesville, Illinois, is ready for hundreds of sporting clays and FITASC shooters to arrive for two of the year’s biggest events, the North Central Regional Sporting Clays and National FITASC Championships, on August 15-21. The North Central Regional is the fifth of seven events in the 2016 NSCA Championship Tour, and both events are selection shoots for the USA Sporting Clays and FITASC teams.
Northbrook promises abundant targets — set by Greater Houston Gun Club’s Adam Blair, Fossil Pointe’s David Niederer, and the Northbrook staff — including:
- 50-target Kolar and White Flyer Small-gauge, SxS and Pump events: Wednesday – Sunday
- 50-target Kolar 20- and 28-gauge FITASC events: Wednesday – Sunday
- 100-target Briley Prelim Sporting: Wednesday – Friday
- 100-target EZPull Super-Sporting: Wednesday – Sunday
- 100-target 5-Stand Main Event: Thursday – Sunday
- 200-target Promatic National FITASC Main Event: Monday – Sunday
- 200-target Sporting Main Event: Saturday – Sunday
- Plentiful practice stations daily
On Friday night, NSCA will sponsor a Lou Malnatti’s Pan Pizza Party, followed by a Saturday night catered dinner with ISCA cocktail party. Competitors will also be treated to a free lunch on Sunday, courtesy of the NSCA. Shooters can expect NSCA hospitality carts and hostesses on all courses.
