Selection Underway for US Open, World Event Hosts
On May 26, 2026, the NSCA Executive Council voted to update the voting procedures for the World FITASC, World English, and US Open. The selection process is now underway for the host clubs of the 2028 NSCA US Open and World English Championships; World FITASC bids are due August 31 and will be added to this post soon after. Electronic Device Rule Updated, Clarified
The NSCA Executive Committee has approved an update and clarification to tournament rule VII-B-7 regarding the use of electronic and recording devices during competition. Updated Rule VII-B-7 now states: “During any registered event, while in the shooting stand shooters may not use any devices capable of recording, transmitting, or displaying live video [or] images, providing or allowing verbal feedback, or transmitting any other information. Wilgus and Orr Selected for 2026 Hall of Fame Induction
The National Sporting Clays Association is proud to announce that Mike Wilgus and Dee Orr have been selected for induction into the NSCA Hall of Fame in 2026.
