Although the USA Sporting Clays/FITASC Teams did not travel to international competition as a team this year, a contingent of American NSCA shooters traveled to Hungary for the World FITASC Championship last week and have returned home with several medals. Joseph Fanizzi not only won the Junior Gold Medal as champion, but he won the Open runner-up Silver Medal, after tying France’s Gael Poinsot, Open Champion, in regulation competition. USA Teams to Forego World English, FITASC Events
After conversations with many of the USA Sporting Clays Team members, as well as discussions with the NSCA Executive Committee, the decision has been made not to send the USA teams to the 2021 World English Championship nor the 2021 World FITASC Championship this year. Their feedback regarding health, testing protocols, and quality of the experience led many team members to make the decision to forego the trips. The World FITASC Championship will be in the U.S. in 2020, at Providence Hill Farm (Jackson, Mississippi), November 9-15. Registration is managed by FITASC and is a different process than most shooters are accustomed to. Please follow these instructions: 1. Go to https://www.fitasc.com/. 2.
