Although the USA Sporting Clays/FITASC Teams did not travel to international competition as a team this year, a contingent of American NSCA shooters traveled to Hungary for the World FITASC Championship last week and have returned home with several medals. The World FITASC Championship will be in the U.S. in 2020, at Providence Hill Farm (Jackson, Mississippi), November 9-15. Registration is managed by FITASC and is a different process than most shooters are accustomed to. Please follow these instructions: 1. Go to https://www.fitasc.com/. 2. FITASC Grand Slam to Replace World Cup, Grand Prix Events
NSCA is launching the NSCA FITASC Grand Slam, a four-shoot series that will crown the 2019 NSCA FITASC Champion, as well as National Concurrent Champions. The four events will replace the FITASC World Cup and Grand Prix events, which are being eliminated from the NSCA Championship Tour due to an unexpected and very significant fee increase from the F.I.T.A.S.C. organization. USA Team Brings Home Medals from World FITASC in France
Following competition at the 2018 World FITASC Championship, the USA FITASC Team is on the way home from Saint-Lambert, France with three team Gold Medals, two Silver Medals, and six individual medals for team members. In addition, Zachary Kienbaum led for much of the competition and finished with the highest score among American competitors, taking the individual Silver Medal. In case you're keeping score in the 2016 Regional Sporting Clays Championships battle, the tally is Bill McGuire - 3, everyone else - 1. Radulovich Prevails at Muddy U.S. Open
Rain and mud may have been the most discussed topics at the U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship at Caney Creek Shooting Sports, but David Radulovich would disagree that almost a foot of rain was the most exciting thing that happened in Teague, Texas last week.
