World English Sporting Clays Returns to NSC in 2022
The World English Sporting Clays Championship returns to the USA in 2022 when the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, hosts the event. The event is planned for April 20-24, 2022. The tournament will feature a 200-target main sporting clays event, along with 100-target old-style FITASC, Super Sporting, NSCA 5-Stand, and various other side events, including sub-gauge and sub-gauge FITASC. USA Teams to Forego World English, FITASC Events
After conversations with many of the USA Sporting Clays Team members, as well as discussions with the NSCA Executive Committee, the decision has been made not to send the USA teams to the 2021 World English Championship nor the 2021 World FITASC Championship this year. Their feedback regarding health, testing protocols, and quality of the experience led many team members to make the decision to forego the trips. Update on World English Disqualification Action
On September 12, the NSCA was notified by Northbrook Sports Club that it has disqualified one of the shooters at the 2019 World English Sporting Championship. Northbrook has rerun the shoot results, and the current posted results are the final official results. Following an investigation of the disqualification to determine if any additional disciplinary action should be taken, the NSCA Executive Council, along with the NSCA Executive Director, reached a decision. World English Returns to Churchill in 2020
The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) has announced that the CPSA World English Sporting and Sportrap Championships will return to the world-famous E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground, having last been hosted there in 2018. The Championships will take place from June 8-14, 2020, (Rescheduled for July 5-11, 2021) and will include two world championships, one each for the disciplines of English Sporting and Sportrap (5-Stand).
