Updated Ammo Policy for National Championship

August 26, 2021 By Sherry Kerr

Updated Ammo Policy for National Championship

The National Shooting Complex has updated its ammunition policy for the upcoming National Sporting Clays Championship to address availability issues: We have been working diligently with all of our ammunition sponsors to secure as much ammunition as possible for the National Sporting Clays Championship. Despite our efforts to ensure that we have enough ammunition on hand, we unfortunately WILL NOT have enough on site for everyone to purchase for everything they are planning to participate in. We have a great deal of ammunition on hand, but knowing the demand will be higher this year, we … [Read more...]

COVID-19 Protocols for National Sporting Clays Championship

The NSCA and National Shooting Complex will implement a comprehensive list of COVID-19 protocols to reduce risks and prioritize the safety of our 2020 National Sporting Clays Championship participants, guests, vendors, and NSC staff. Two Special Ladies Events at Nationals

Last year’s first Ladies Day In shooting clinic at the National Sporting Clays Championship was a resounding success, attracting a full house of both local and out-of-state beginning shooters who wanted to learn the basics of shotgunning from and with other ladies. We’ll be doing it again this year during Nationals on Friday, October 26, from 8:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m., including both classroom time and shooting. The clinic will include shooting and safety instruction with loaner guns from Blaser, ammunition from Fiocchi, and lunch from the NSCA. Ladies who are just getting started in shooting … [Read more...]

Picking a Squad for Nationals

September 11, 2016 By Sherry Kerr

Picking a Squad for Nationals   I want to go to the National Championship but don't really know anyone else going. One of my shooting buddies went to Nationals by himself a few years ago and, while it was a great experience, his squad wasn't that great. As for selecting the right squad to shoot with at the National Championship, my advice is to start local. Inquire at your … [Read more...]
