The nomination period is open for NSCA members to apply to serve on the NSCA Advisory Council for the 2018-2019 term. The deadline to apply to serve is Friday, September 22. Matarese, Sorantino are Southeast Regional Winners
Anthony Matarese Jr. added another title to his extraordinary year by winning the Southeast Regional Sporting Clays Championship at Back Woods Quail Club. Finishing with a strong 191, he hammered out a two-target lead over runner-up Doug Vine, followed by David Radulovich at third. Diane Sorantino was the Ladies' Champion. Kids & Clays Events Get Support from Winchester Ammunition
When Indiana McDonald's restaurant owners Glenn and Kathy Lubeznik decided to chair a sporting clays tournament in 1999 to raise money for the Chicago Ronald McDonald House, little did they realize at the time how big the fundraising movement would become. They hosted 137 participants and raised $16,000. People had a lot of fun, too. That one event became the impetus for the creation of the Kids & Clays organization, which this year will host more than 20 fundraising clays tournaments. In reviewing your member records, you may have noticed a new statistic in your Member Data, the Current Class Ratio. Here's what it means: The NSCA Advisory Council and Executive Council have reviewed the current procedures for end-of-year reviews of members' classifications and have adjusted the process for determining who will be offered down-classing at the 2016 year-end review. Radulovich Prevails at Muddy U.S. Open
Rain and mud may have been the most discussed topics at the U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship at Caney Creek Shooting Sports, but David Radulovich would disagree that almost a foot of rain was the most exciting thing that happened in Teague, Texas last week.
