NSSA-NSCA Acquires Property Adjacent to NSC

NSSA-NSCA Acquires Property Adjacent to NSC

On December 31, NSSA-NSCA completed the purchase of 23+ acres adjoining the National Shooting Complex that creates a buffer from development and helps protect the association’s investment in its San Antonio, Texas, property. The land purchase is an important investment in the future of the National Shooting Complex, preventing any type of encroachments of residential or commercial development adjacent to our property boundary. This investment received unanimous support from the joint NSSA-NSCA Finance Committee and the Executive Committee. “The NSSA-NSCA bought this property as a buffer … [Read more...]

COVID-19 Protocols for National Sporting Clays Championship

The NSCA and National Shooting Complex will implement a comprehensive list of COVID-19 protocols to reduce risks and prioritize the safety of our 2020 National Sporting Clays Championship participants, guests, vendors, and NSC staff. Texas State Sporting Clays Shoot Canceled

June 29, 2020 By Sherry Kerr

Texas State Sporting Clays Shoot Canceled

With a worsening of the COVID-19 status of San Antonio and the National Shooting Complex over the past few days, we regret that we must cancel our plans to host the Texas State Sporting Clays Championship. The San Antonio area has seen a marked increase in COVID-19 cases recently, resulting in stricter local guidelines for events. Over the past 72 hours, a mandate from the mayor requires approval for large events, and Bexar County residents have been advised to stay at home. Also, two members of our NSC staff, as well as the spouse of an employee, have now tested positive for … [Read more...]
