The Shooting for Rewards program, which rewards members with points for shooting registered targets and offers a catalog of items the points can be spent on, is being phased out over the next two years. The program will end and the store will close on January 1, 2028. All unused points will expire on that date. In the meantime, points can be earned and spent until the program ends. Apply for $5,000 NSSA or NSCA Scholarship
Active NSSA and NSCA members who will graduate from high school this academic year are invited to apply for one of the eight $5,000 scholarships that will be awarded to deserving students this year. Four scholarships will be presented to NSSA members and four to NSCA members. The scholarship program is open not only to students pursuing a four-year degree but also to students attending two-year colleges and technical colleges. Final Shots: Kolar’s Don Mainland Passes
We are saddened to report the passing of Don Mainland, the man who established Kolar Arms as one of the leading manufacturers of clay target shotguns since the 1990's. Mainland acquired the company founded by Larry Kolar in the 1980's, moving the tube-set business to his machine shop in Wisconsin. After producing trap guns for Remington, Mainland then began production of Kolar-branded shotguns made in the USA.
